Try to stay neutral in your boy's room
If your son is too young to choose a reasonable color scheme on his own or you simply do not want to leave it to his choice, choose and go for neutral, pastel and gray colors. This way, when your son is old enough to make his own choice and it's time for another change, it will be easier and cheaper to make it.
Optionally, enter a color. What color for a boy's room? However, if you have concerns or cannot agree on one color, introduce it gradually, e.g. first paint one element of the room, e.g. the door, in the color that will be your compromise. Painting the door will add character along with the color, but it will not overwhelm the entire room. This will make the boy's room more expressive and allow you to get used to your son's choices.
Blue looks good in a boy's room
If blue is your son's favorite color, you're in luck. The blue color gives expression, but at the same time it is neither too bold nor crazy. There's a bed for a boy in it, because it is a very important element because it usually creates a cozy sleeping corner, and at the same time, if improperly selected, it can "steal" a lot of space in the children's room and overwhelm with its weight. Matching the color of the bed to the boy's room is extremely important due to its dimensions, so we would rather put a bed in light colors in a blue room to optically brighten and enlarge it, and add character to the place.

A blue room for a boy - it is worth introducing warm lighting into it
A bulb in the color of cream, yellow or even orange (a warm bulb and a copper shade from the inside will give this effect). Such lighting has a chance to be a key element of such a room. And a bright one at that carpet for a child's room, wicker baskets, pillows, etc. A blue boy's room can be "warmed up" by adding, for example, a light cotton carpet, preferably machine washable rug, appropriate photos or posters on the wall or colorful pillows, or even by placing a carpet on the wall as in the photo below.

Have you wondered what is the easiest way to improve the appearance of a boy's room?
In our opinion, it is important to keep it tidy! If you introduce, for example, rattan baskets for toys, in addition to helping to keep the room tidy, you will introduce another element that will calm down the appearance of the whole.
If you have the budget and the courage to introduce a boy to his room, start by introducing a pattern into the room. You can have a neutral color palette in a boy's room, but if you add a fun pattern, e.g. of a carpet or bedspread, you can completely change the character of the interior.
