Viva Magenta and colors that kick
Hi! Make yourself a good cup of coffee, sit comfortably and let's talk about what's hot right now when it comes to interior design. Have you ever wondered why some apartments are immediately associated with an oasis of peace, while others seem overloaded? Exactly. A lot has been changing lately, and our homes are becoming more thoughtful. The truth is that instead of blindly following every new fashion, we start focusing on comfort, functionality and quality. Instead of cluttering the space, we prefer a simple, calm base and one specific accent that does all the work. It can be a designer lamp, a crazy armchair or just... a bold color. Okay, let's get down to business!
Listen, if you've been afraid of strong colors so far, now is the perfect time to break through. Viva Magenta enters the living rooms - an incredibly energetic, bold shade that can liven up even the most gloomy corner. But that's not all. There are also deep burgundy, burgundy, as well as electrifying cobalt and purple. For fans of slightly warmer climates we have terracotta, and for lovers of freshness - pastel blue and lemon. And it really works! Such a small accent in the form of bottle green, deep black or juicy orange can completely change the character of a room.
Just a note - honestly, it's easy to overdo it here. In order not to go crazy from excess stimuli, it is best to treat these colors as the icing on the cake. Let the base, i.e. the walls, floors and the largest furniture, remain calm - in white, gray or beige. And the crazy color? Let it appear on pillows, one wall or in the form of a unique armchair.

Peace in a minimalist version and the magic of Japandi
How does it look like in your place? If you dream of a space where you can finally rest your head, minimalism and Japandi style are the perfect solution. Okay, but what does this actually mean on a daily basis? First of all, we get rid of unnecessary trinkets. The value includes clean lines, simple, geometric forms and furniture that actually serves a purpose and does not just look nice. It's about catching your breath.
And here we smoothly move on to my absolute favorite, the Japandi style. It's such a brilliant marriage of Japanese harmony with Scandinavian coziness. Imagine natural wood, bamboo, linen, and soft, streamlined shapes. No chaos! If you want to introduce this atmosphere into your living room, hide small items in closed cabinets. Japandi doesn't like open shelves sagging under the weight of a million things. What matters is space, breath, simple ceramics and subtle decorations.

Materials we want to touch
This year we are completely giving up on cold, plastic surfaces that look artificial. You've probably noticed that we are more and more drawn to nature. And it shows in the materials! Real wood, noble marble on coffee tables and kitchen countertops, and natural fabrics reign supreme. Woolen carpets, cotton curtains and linen pillowcases - that's it! And of course plants. Lots of live, green plants that not only purify the air, but also brilliantly decorate the space. Interestingly, we are also increasingly using recycled materials and organic materials, which makes me incredibly happy.
Saying goodbye to sharp edges, it's time for curves
Have you ever wondered why we feel so good surrounded by rounded shapes? It's simple - nature does not know straight lines! That's why arches, shapes and curves now rule in interiors. Soft, fluffy sofas that look like clouds, round coffee tables, oval mirrors... These forms immediately make the interior cozier and friendlier. After a whole day of running, you just want to cuddle up in such a round, soft armchair.

Little things, big effect
The truth is that you don't have to do a general renovation and spend a fortune to freshen up your apartment. The secret is the accessories! Colorful vases, designer flower pots, interesting graphics on the wall or an original throw carelessly thrown on the sofa can create a spectacular metamorphosis. Sometimes one expressive element, for example a stylish lamp with an interesting shape, is enough to give the entire room a completely new look. Small furniture such as consoles or side tables are the best friends of quick change.
Hygge, or home as a safe haven
Finally, something without which I cannot imagine a good interior. Danish hygge! This is not an ordinary trend, it is simply a philosophy of life that teaches us to celebrate small pleasures. How to transfer this to interior design? The key is light. Forget about cold, overhead light bulbs that are associated with the office. We focus on warm, atmospheric lighting - lots of candles, lanterns and table lamps placed in various corners. Add soft blankets with a thick weave, a cup of your favorite tea and you are in paradise. Home is supposed to be a place that hugs us after a hard day.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions
Do I have to paint the entire living room Viva Magenta to be trendy?
Absolutely not! A small accent is enough - for example, pillows, a poster on the wall or one designer vase. The point is to have fun and not overwhelm the interior with bright colors.
How to combine minimalism with coziness so that the house does not look too austere?
Textures are the key! Choose subdued colors, but play with materials: wool carpet, linen curtains, wooden furniture and lots of green plants. This will make the minimalist interior incredibly warm and homely.

What should I do if I have a small apartment and I dream of fashionable, rounded furniture?
Round coffee tables or arc-shaped mirrors will work great in small spaces. They do not take up much space, but they brilliantly soften the space and make it optically light.
