See, in our opinion, the best series of lamps from the Danish company EBB&Flow, little known in Poland but valued in Western Europe. All projects at EBB&Flow start with its owner, Susanne Nielsen, whom I had the opportunity to meet in person at one of the fairs in Paris. For each new idea, Susanne uses the classic British and Nordic style as a starting point, she has a passion for natural materials, glass, crystal, metal and textiles, as a result of which she created an original style that combines light and glass, fills them with lightness, simplicity and adds a touch of modernity.

Scandinavian, i.e. minimalist. Not always. Get to know the true features of style straight from the north

At first glance, Scandinavian style and minimalism may go hand in hand. These terms are often used interchangeably by people talking about simple, yet warm and practical arrangements. In this context, it is assumed that they are synonyms, and there is a lot of truth in that. Indeed, contemporary design has created an image of an ideal, orderly interior. These are almost always white walls and carefully selected plants in fashionable pots. These also include neutral knitted blankets and other Scandinavian textiles, and above all, clean surfaces and undemanding spaces. Although the Scandinavian style and the minimalist style mix very well with each other (and, admittedly, often intertwine), there are important differences. What?

How can glass lamps work with any style in your home?

Light serves two basic functions in human life. Firstly, humans obtain over 80% of information about the surrounding world through sight, so light is simply necessary for life to use its capabilities. Secondly, light has a biological function, giving life a specific (circadian) rhythm, and has a significant impact on biological processes occurring in humans, including: on hormonal balance, blood circulation and metabolism. Therefore, appropriate lighting of living spaces has an extremely positive impact on health, mood and well-being, efficiency and accuracy, impressions, but also safety as well as the quality and comfort of human life.
